What exactly is bull stuff? It's hard to define, but you recognize it when you see it. This is proven by the fact that people often exclaim those words when they experience it. "This is BS," someone will bellow loud enough to be heard from Saturn. Sometimes they're right, other times they're just crying foul because their not getting their way.
Make no mistake, there is a lot of BS out there. It could be as big as a presidential election where one nominee is Satan and the nominee other is Beelzebub. It could be as trivial as a heavily-favored basketball team pissing away three-games-to-one lead in the final. BS is BS no matter how big and steaming the pile.
Recognizing it when you see it or even before you see it is the key. A lot of problems can be avoided if people simply turn on their BS detectors. At times, you might still wind up neck-deep in bull stuff and at that point you'd better be a farmer and make use of it or be proficient at sifting through it to get out of it as fast as you can.
