Why do some people claim racism is a thing of the past,
When we can still see it as plain as day?
Why do some people call others devil,
While continuing to live and work around them?
Why does your boss demand you have a college degree,
When they are a high school dropout?
Why is a 35-year old man considered to be in his prime,
Yet a 35 year old women is considered past hers?
Why are ISIS and Al-Qaeda considered terrorist groups,
Yet the Ku Klux Klan, Neo Nazis, and Skinheads aren't?
Why do people claim All Lives Matter,
Yet those same people cheer and dance when a Black man is shot and killed?
Why is it okay for Jews and Native Americans to receive reparations,
But it's wrong for Blacks to get them?
Why do people confuse being pro-Black,
With being anti-American or anti-Semetic?
Why are actors and pro athletes treated like gods,
While war veterans are treated like less than garbage?
Why is American Politics a two-party system,
When both those parties suck?
Why is are the Presidential candidates a choice between the lesser of two evils,
Rather than who would actually a good make President?
Why is guilt or innocence a matter of public opinion,
When it should be a matter of proof and facts?
Why does national news media push agendas and distortions,
Instead of spreading the truth?
Why do we divide ourselves into racial groups,
Instead of coming together as one human race?
Why can't we call out bull stuff,
No matter who does it?
Why do we protect and support the pureyors of bull stuff,
Just because they may look and sound like us?
Why can't we all just,
Wake up and smell the bull stuff?
