President Barack Obama addressed the Dallas Police shootings recently. He said the killings were inexcusable. Make no mistake, he's right.
But where was he at when Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were gunned down. He was as quite as a mosquito taking a piss. Should those shootings have been considered inexcuseable as well.
The officers killed Mr. Sterling after, I repeat, AFTER they already had the situation under control. He was pinned down on the ground. Even if he had a gun, he was restrained and no longer a threat.
Mr. Castile was killed supposedly reaching for his wallet. This writer will say he made the mistake of declaring his weapon before moving his hands out of the officer's sight...possibly. If that's true, he shouldn't have done that, especially being a black man. But on the same token, if he was going to shoot the cop, why would he declare his weapon. Wouldn't he have just pulled out his gun and shot the officer without saying anything?
Also, in the case of Mr. Castile, there was a child in the car. What if he shot the child? Just something to think about.
And finally, in the case of the Dallas shooter, if he can shoot innocent police officers, why is George Zimmerman still walking around? He'd have been a lot easier to hit than those officers and he was proven to have done something wrong. Just saying.
Three situations, three times the bull.
