Men Are Worthless?

Every now and then, this writer will be having a conversation with someone.  The talk will be good, informative, and rewarding.  The suddenly, the other person will say, "Men are worthless", or something to that extent.

This writer, who is male, does understand to an extent.  The media (yep, them again) has spoon fed America this garbage for the past 20-30 years, effectively poisoning an entire generation of people.  As a result, these people don't know any better when they say things like this.  They are just saying what they know.  They bought it, believe it, and they're sticking with it.

Anyone who's every opened a history book will know that the greatness of men.  The strength of every nation that has ever existed has been measured by the strength of its men.  Heck, the very existence these nations is because men made it happen.  It doesn't matter how they did it, they did it.  In spite of all his research, this writer couldn't find one nation founded by a woman. (Please guide this writer to a source that shows otherwise.)  The very power structures of these nations are put in place and maintained by men, even when a woman is running that nation.

No woman has ever walked on the moon.  A woman didn't create the atomic bomb (like it or not, it was a game changer).  Women didn't create the airplane.  Women haven't create a single meaningful industry.  Men did all of these things and more.

Don't mistake this for putting down women, because it isn't or at least it's not meant to be.  There are great women who have done great things.  The writer is simply stating that men aren't nearly as worthless as he's been told.  What's fair is fair.  Being told that you're worthless simply because you were born with a penis isn't fair.
